Search & shortcuts
Search
The search box is at the top of the sidebar. Type and press Enter for the results page.
Search covers contacts, companies, deals and projects in the current account, and matches:
- contact first and last names and email addresses
- company names and domains
- deal names
- project names
Matching is per-word and prefix-based, and every word typed must match. zen part finds “Zenith Partners”. zenith acme finds neither.
Results are grouped by type and link to the record. Search returns at most 25 results, followed by “Showing first 25 results. Refine your search for more precise matches.”
Search covers only the account you are signed into. To search another account, switch to it first.
Keyboard shortcuts
Press ? for this list in a dialog.

Companies is g o because Contacts uses c.
Jump shortcut behavior
- After g, the second key must follow within 1.5 seconds. After that the sequence is dropped.
- Shortcuts do not fire while the cursor is in a text field.
- They do not fire while a dialog or dropdown is open, or while a modifier key is held. Cmd/Ctrl + K is the exception.
- Esc closes the dialog, slide-over or menu currently open.
